We contact your insurance company directly to verify your benefits and gather information specific to your plan and midwifery care, including coverage for home birth when applicable.

This service includes:

• Direct verification with your insurance company
• Review of in-network and out-of-network benefits
• Deductible, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket information
• Home birth and midwifery coverage information
• In-network cost comparison when applicable
• Gap exception/request information and assistance when available

Insurance benefits are not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Final coverage is determined by your insurance company when a claim is processed.

We’ll prepare and submit your insurance claims for your midwifery care, taking the stress out of navigating the billing process.

This service includes preparation and submission of the claims using the information provided by your midwife and medical records, along with the appropriate billing and diagnosis codes. We’ll review the claims for accuracy before submission and provide the information needed to track the claim with your insurance company.

This service includes:

• Preparation and submission of your insurance claims throughout your care
• Review of medical records and billing information
• Appropriate CPT and diagnosis coding
• Electronic claim submission to your insurance company
• Claim status monitoring
• Assistance addressing routine insurance requests or claim processing issues
• Support for appeal, when applicable

Need documentation to submit your midwifery care to insurance yourself? We’ll prepare it for you.

We review the information provided by your midwife and medical records and prepare a professionally coded superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

This service includes:

• Review of medical records and billing information
• Appropriate CPT and diagnosis coding
• Preparation of your superbill
• Documentation organized for insurance submission
